On May 15, 2026, Sui Xin of the School of Marxism, Shenzhen University, traveled to Northeast Normal University and held the first graduate admissions presentation there. Focusing on issues that students care about — such as the distinctive features of the discipline, training directions and employment prospects — the presentation was warmly welcomed by the Faculty of Marxism of Northeast Normal University. Ji Zhe, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Marxism of Northeast Normal University, chaired the event and delivered remarks, and Song Bing, a full-time counselor of the Faculty of Marxism, attended as a non-voting observer.

The presentation was held on the afternoon of May 15, 2026, in Room 306 of the Faculty of Marxism, Northeast Normal University, and drew a large number of students. The Faculty of Marxism of Northeast Normal University is a national key School of Marxism and has long maintained a consistently high quality of student intake. The aim of this special presentation was to further strengthen disciplinary exchanges between our university and the Faculty of Marxism of Northeast Normal University, to provide a targeted interpretation of graduate admissions policies, and to build a more practical and efficient communication platform for subsequent precision-oriented admissions work. With clear logic, Sui Xin presented the frontier directions and outstanding achievements of Shenzhen University — from its rich historical heritage to its strong research faculty, and from its well-developed talent training structure to the university's continuously increasing investment in education — which greatly inspired the students present and filled them with confidence and anticipation about the academic exploration ahead and the leap in their own capabilities.

In the interactive session, students from Northeast Normal University enthusiastically asked questions about the application policies of Shenzhen University and its various programs, research directions, supervisors' academic expertise, and future employment directions. Sui Xin answered each question in detail: she first outlined the application requirements and admission procedures for each program at Shenzhen University, helping students clarify the key points of application; she then focused specifically on the frontier developments and employment trends in the discipline of Marxist theory, analyzing the strengths and development paths of different research directions, and offered practical advice on how to match supervisors' research fields with one's own academic interests; finally, she presented the distinctive features of Shenzhen University, along with the unique academic resources of the School of Marxism and its signature "Starry Night Talks" series of events, leaving the students present full of anticipation for their future graduate life.

Looking ahead, our School will continue to make the content of its presentations more targeted and better tailored, further enrich the forms of interaction, and highlight the distinctive features of the discipline in a more down-to-earth way, so as to promote simultaneous improvement in the quality and efficiency of admissions outreach. On this basis, our School will continue to strengthen the substantive development of graduate education and enhance the core competitiveness of the discipline, delivering high-quality student intake for the university.
