On May 19, 2026, Sui Xin of the School of Marxism, Shenzhen University, traveled to Northeast Normal University and held the second graduate admissions presentation there. This presentation was intended for third-year undergraduates of the School of Political Science and Law, and received the earnest assistance and warm hospitality of the School of Political Science and Law of Northeast Normal University. Zhang Dengwen, Vice Dean of the School of Political Science and Law of Northeast Normal University, chaired the event and delivered remarks.
The presentation was held from 19:00 to 20:50 on May 19, 2026, in Classroom 4 of the Jingyue Comprehensive Teaching Building of Northeast Normal University, and attracted more than 100 students. The event was devoted to deepening friendly exchanges between our university and Northeast Normal University, expanding channels for high-quality student intake, presenting in a focused way the overall educational level of Shenzhen University and the strengths of its disciplines, and providing a systematic interpretation of graduate admissions policies, so as to build a more efficient bridge of communication for subsequent admissions work.
Sui Xin, the speaker, systematically reviewed the development trajectory of Shenzhen University, as well as its faculty composition, research capacity, faculty development and graduate training system. She also stressed that in recent years Shenzhen University has continuously stepped up its efforts in graduate education, and that both the optimization of its faculty and the upgrading of its teaching facilities provide solid support for the growth and development of graduate students.
In the interactive session, students of Northeast Normal University asked questions enthusiastically, focusing on three areas: application policies, program selection and campus life. Sui Xin responded to each in detail. At the policy level, she clarified the application thresholds and admission procedures for each program, giving students clear guidance on how to apply. At the level of program selection, drawing on the disciplinary strengths of each school and industry trends, she objectively analyzed the academic prospects and employment competitiveness of different programs and offered practical advice on how to choose. At the level of campus experience, she introduced learning resources such as the library, study rooms and laboratories, as well as extracurricular activities such as academic clubs and the Color Run, giving students a comprehensive understanding of the study and living environment at Shenzhen University.
Looking ahead, our School will continue to expand the forms of its activities and the dimensions of interaction, striving to present the university's educational strengths in a way that is closer to how students perceive things, and to advance the development of admissions outreach. Through sustained accumulation, we will steadily raise the level of graduate training and attract more high-quality prospective students with academic aspirations and a spirit of innovation for the university.
