On May 9, 2026, Sui Xin of the School of Marxism, Shenzhen University, traveled to Hunan University of Science and Technology and held the second graduate admissions presentation there. Focusing on issues that students of the School of Marxism care about — such as the distinctive features of the discipline, training directions and employment prospects — the presentation was warmly welcomed and actively assisted by the School of Marxism of Hunan University of Science and Technology. Liu Tuqi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism of Hunan University of Science and Technology, attended the event, presided over it and delivered remarks, and Zou Xin, a counselor of the School of Marxism of Hunan University of Science and Technology, was also present.

The presentation was held at 15:00 on May 9, 2026, in Room A5-1 of Liyan Building, Hunan University of Science and Technology, and drew a large number of students. The aim of this special presentation was to further strengthen disciplinary exchanges between our university and the School of Marxism of Hunan University of Science and Technology, to broaden the channels for delivering high-quality prospective students, to systematically present the overall educational strength of Shenzhen University and the distinctive strengths of the discipline of Marxist theory, and to provide a targeted interpretation of graduate admissions policies, so as to build a more practical and efficient communication platform for subsequent precision-oriented admissions work.

The speaker, Sui Xin, gave a clear and well-organized introduction to the history and development of Shenzhen University, its faculty and research, its team building and its graduate training system, as well as the university's many measures in recent years to increase its investment in graduate education. With regard to the supervisory team, Sui Xin focused on the research directions and academic achievements of a number of key supervisors in the School of Marxism, leaving the students present full of anticipation about engaging in high-level academic research and improving their overall capabilities in the future.

In the interactive session, students from the School of Marxism of Hunan University of Science and Technology enthusiastically asked questions about the application policies of the various programs at Shenzhen University, research directions, supervisors' academic expertise, and future employment directions. Sui Xin answered each question in detail: she first reviewed the application requirements and admission procedures of Shenzhen University, helping students clarify the key points of application; she then, in light of the frontier developments and employment trends of different programs, analyzed the strengths and development paths of different research directions, and offered practical advice on how to match the research fields of supervisors with one's own academic interests; and finally she presented the unique academic resources of the School of Marxism, Shenzhen University, along with its signature "Starry Night Talks" series of events, leaving the students present full of anticipation for their future graduate life.

Our School will further strengthen cooperation with the various bases for high-quality student intake, more precisely improve the fit between the content of its presentations and students' needs, enrich the forms of its activities, and present its educational strengths in a more practical way, so as to improve the quality and efficiency of admissions outreach. Through sustained efforts, we will keep raising the quality of graduate training and the influence of the discipline, and gather more high-quality prospective students for the university.
