    Speaker Profile

    Professor Qiao Qingju currently serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Social and Ecological Civilization Teaching and Research at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (National Academy of Governance). He is a Second-Level Professor, a “Distinguished Cultural Scholar and Member of the Four Talent Programs”, a Leading Talent of the National Philosophy and Social Science WR Program, an expert receiving special government allowances from the State Council, and a recipient of the May Day Labor Medal of the Central Government Agencies.

    Professor Qiao has been honored with multiple academic awards, including the Jin Yuelin Academic Award from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Global Chinese Studies Achievement Award from the Phoenix Network Yuelu Academy Duns Foundation. His research focuses on Xi Jinping’s Thought on Ecological Civilization, fine traditional Chinese culture (Guoxue), traditional Chinese ecological philosophy, and Wang Yangming’s philosophy of mind.

    He is proficient in English, Japanese, German, and Korean, and has led more than ten major research projects, including National Social Science Fund key and major projects. He has submitted over ten internal policy reports to relevant departments, many of which have received directives from senior leaders.

    Professor Qiao has published over 170 papers in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean in renowned journals such as Social Sciences in China and Philosophical Researches, and authored more than ten monographs, including:

    • A General Treatise on Confucian Ecological Thought

    • Confucian Ecological View

    • A History of Confucian Ecological Philosophy
