On June 9, 2025, the Undergraduate Ideological and Political Course Teaching Showcase organized by the School of Marxism at Shenzhen University was successfully held in Room 106 of the Ziweizhai Party-Building Activity Center. Seven student teams from the School of Marxism competed on the same stage, conveying the power of faith through youthful voices and demonstrating the Marxist theoretical competence and spirited demeanor of university students in the new era.

The panel of judges included Professor Wang Hong, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee of Shenzhen University and Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism; Associate Professor Jiang Zongwei from the School of Marxism at Shenzhen Polytechnic University; Wang Ping, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Marxism at Shenzhen University; Dr. Feng Jinyu, young faculty member of the School of Marxism; and Bian Kebing, counselor at the School of Marxism.

Each participating team closely followed the pulse of the times and the developmental practice of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, vividly expressing the new generation’s reflections on ideals, faith, historical inheritance, and their sense of responsibility for the era.
Through immersive storytelling, they brought to life the power and charm of ideological and political education.

The teams explored a wide range of themes — such as the Special Economic Zone’s pioneering spirit, the youth’s sense of responsibility, the Shenzhen spirit of striving beyond limits, the legacy of the “pioneering ox” spirit, the cross-regional spread of volunteerism, the human warmth of technological innovation, and the role of the Party’s innovative theories in guiding young people.

Their presentations drew from vivid and symbolic narratives — from the speed of high-speed rail to the intertwined images of history and reality, from forging ahead amid public debate to the bamboo sheds that marked early pioneering days, from the dialogue of compassion between Wenchuan and Shenzhen, to science and technology improving people’s lives, and the illumination of youth by the Party’s theoretical guidance. Collectively, these performances brought to light the spirit of Shenzhen’s Special Economic Zone and the youth’s vitality and determination to advance.

After each team’s presentation, the judges provided detailed evaluations covering teaching content, instructional design, teaching skills, and classroom effectiveness.
They spoke highly of the students’ solid theoretical foundation and energetic performance, offering constructive suggestions on aspects such as teaching presence, use of educational resources, and coordination of lecture delivery.
