On the morning of July 1, 2025, as the first rays of dawn broke through the sky, a solemn flag-raising ceremony themed “Rejuvenation of a Strong Nation, I Am on the Path” was held at the East Square of Huiyuan Building at Shenzhen University to celebrate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The event was jointly organized by the Party Committee of the School of Marxism and the Ethnic Preparatory Class.
Attending the ceremony were Wang Ping, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Marxism; Bian Kebing, Counselor of the School of Marxism; Dilizhati, faculty member of the Student Affairs Office for Ethnic Students; along with more than 60 students from both the School of Marxism and the Ethnic Preparatory Class.

At 7:10 a.m., teachers and students stood solemnly before the flag-raising platform. The National Flag Guard marched with powerful, synchronized steps, escorting the flag to the pole. As the majestic and stirring melody of the National Anthem filled the air, all participants stood at attention, saluting the flag as it was raised high. United in voice, they sang the anthem together, paying tribute to the Party’s founding and expressing heartfelt wishes for the prosperity and strength of the great motherland.

Following the ceremony, Teacher Wang Ping delivered a themed Party lecture titled “The Buttons of Life Must Be Fastened Correctly from the Start.” She encouraged young students to inherit and carry forward the Party’s founding mission, fine traditions, and spirit of perseverance, striving to create a better future through hard work.
She urged students to build a strong foundation of integrity and self-discipline during their university years — to fasten the “key buttons” of life correctly. Wang emphasized three points:
Respect the boundaries of law and discipline — study, understand, and abide by the law; avoid taking chances or crossing the red lines of discipline and legality.
Uphold moral standards — distinguish right from wrong, choose what is good, act with integrity and honesty, and adhere to public, professional, family, and personal ethics.
Maintain order in thought and action — live by principles and measure one’s conduct.
She concluded that only through consistent, diligent effort — step by step, day by day — can one achieve a truly meaningful, complete, and fulfilled life.

Irfan·Aitiwula, a student representative from the Ethnic Preparatory Class, reflected on the CPC’s century-long journey — from the Red Boat on Nanhu Lake to leading the Chinese nation toward rejuvenation. He spoke of the Party’s remarkable achievements in poverty alleviation, technological innovation, and more. Using the examples of unity among ethnic groups in Turpan and the shared learning spirit of Shenzhen students, he vividly illustrated the consciousness of the Chinese national community.
He called on university students in the new era to stand at this historical crossroads, to embody the spirit of pioneering, and to devote themselves wholeheartedly to national development — contributing their youthful strength to the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

Held on the occasion of the July 1st Party Founding Day, the flag-raising ceremony was not only a tribute to the Party’s birthday but also a clarion call to inspire young students toward progress. Participants expressed that they would always remember the glorious century-long history of the CPC, carry forward the torch passed down by their predecessors, remain loyal to the Party, and resolutely follow its leadership.
They pledged to integrate their personal ideals into the grand cause of national development, and with renewed enthusiasm and unyielding determination, forge ahead in the cause of the Party and the people — contributing their youth and strength to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
