On the afternoon of September 1, the first day of registration for new students, Professor Wang Hong, Member of the Party Committee of Shenzhen University and Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism, together with Deputy Party Secretary Wang Ping, Counselor Bian Kebing, and student representatives, visited the new students’ dormitories to extend warm greetings and heartfelt welcome. Their visit conveyed the college’s care and encouragement, bringing warmth and motivation to students as they embarked on their new academic journey.

During the visits, the college leaders listened attentively to the new students’ needs and engaged in in-depth conversations focused on the key issues of adapting to university life. They asked detailed questions about academic planning and daily adjustment while patiently addressing concerns related to course connections, resource utilization, and study strategies. Drawing on the distinctive features of Marxist studies, they provided personalized suggestions for development. From a holistic “whole-person education” perspective, the leaders also reminded the students to maintain a healthy balance between study and life, to build a solid “firewall” for physical and mental well-being, and to integrate into the new university environment with enthusiasm and confidence.

At the same time, members of the student volunteer service team of the School of Marxism actively participated in the welcoming activities. They helped guide new students around campus, carried luggage, answered questions, and shared useful tips for university life. Their enthusiasm and commitment fully demonstrated the warm spirit of the School of Marxism, allowing newcomers to truly feel the sense of belonging and family within the community.

The new students, who came from across the country, expressed their gratitude and excitement to join the School of Marxism. They said they would transform the college’s care into motivation for progress, uphold the school’s spirit of virtue and integrity, and devote themselves to rigorous study and research. Through the learning and practice of Marxist theory, they pledged to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, and with the power of youth, write a new chapter of responsibility and commitment in the new era.
