From November 14 to 17, the finals of the 2024 Teaching Skills Competition for Young Teachers of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Universities across Five Provinces (Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Jiangxi, and Yunnan) were held at Shangrao Normal University in Jiangxi Province. Li Yanyan, a faculty member from our School, stood out in the preliminary round organized by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and ultimately won the second prize in the finals.

In the finals, Li Yanyan delivered a lecture titled "Embracing the Lofty Ideal of Communism." She analyzed two erroneous logical approaches: negating ideals with "reality" and negating ideals with "time," thereby addressing doubts and inspiring students to firmly establish the lofty ideal of communism.

This achievement highlights the School’s ongoing commitment to supporting faculty development and enhancing the teaching abilities of young educators. Moving forward, the School will continue to improve the teaching capabilities of young faculty members and provide strong support for participation in competitions, aiming for even greater accomplishments in the future.
