Since 2024, as one of Guangdong Province’s first key Marxist schools, the Shenzhen University School of Marxism has fully leveraged its strengths in theoretical research and talent cultivation. With a foundation of deep theoretical expertise, a focus on public needs, and long-term team-building as a guarantee, the school has consistently promoted the dissemination of innovative Party theories to the broader public. Recently, the school organized its fourth group of theoretical speakers to deliver lectures on the spirit of the 20th CPC Central Committee’s Third Plenary Session in grassroots communities in Shenzhen and Shanwei. This year, the school has conducted over 100 theoretical lectures, covering all districts in Shenzhen and Shanwei.
On October 24, Professor Tian Qibo delivered a lecture titled "Implementing the Spirit of the 20th CPC Central Committee’s Third Plenary Session: Improving Systems to Safeguard and Enhance People’s Well-Being" in Shekou Subdistrict, Shenzhen. He highlighted the significance of deepening reforms to meet people’s aspirations for a better life and analyzed reforms in areas such as employment, retirement, healthcare, social security, and income distribution.
On October 25, Professor Wang Shuangyin gave a lecture titled "A Decision to Further Advance Reform and Promote Chinese Modernization" in Huafu Subdistrict, Shenzhen. He explained key ideas, including “a new era,” “three invariants,” and “seven strategic focuses,” linking the Party's reform strategies to practical applications.
On October 27, Associate Professor Bao Yi delivered a talk titled "Chinese Modernization: An Interpretation of the Spirit of the 20th CPC Central Committee’s Third Plenary Session" at the New Era Civilization Practice Center in Bao’an District. He explored the unique characteristics and profound significance of Chinese modernization, comparing it with Western and Soviet models.
On October 31, Associate Professor Huang Jichao presented a lecture titled "Studying and Implementing the Spirit of the 20th CPC Central Committee’s Third Plenary Session" in Cuizhu Subdistrict, Shenzhen. He discussed the role of united front work in advancing Chinese modernization and national reunification.
On the afternoon of November 1, at the New Era Civilization Practice Center in Longhua District, Shenzhen, Professor Xu Jianhua delivered a lecture titled "Studying and Implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and Interpreting the Spirit of the 20th CPC Central Committee's Third Plenary Session." Using the television series "The Age of Awakening" as a starting point, Professor Xu explained the core contents of the "Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Further Comprehensively Deepening Reform and Advancing Chinese-Style Modernization" from the perspectives of "awakeners" and "pathfinders," resonating deeply with the grassroots audience. She systematically outlined the key points of the Plenary Session's spirit, emphasizing that Chinese-style modernization is a socialist modernization led by the Communist Party of China. She stressed the importance of a people-centered value orientation, respecting the people's principal role and creative spirit.
On the morning of November 1, at the Party-Masses Service Center in Outian Village, Luhe County, Shanwei City, young teacher He Jie delivered a lecture titled "Interpretation of the 20th CPC Central Committee's Spirit on Solidly Promoting Common Prosperity." He elaborated on the significance of the "Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Further Comprehensively Deepening Reform and Advancing Chinese-Style Modernization" adopted during the plenary session. He systematically discussed the concept, definition, and evolution of "common prosperity" as outlined in the decision, focusing on themes such as "solidly promoting common prosperity," "Chinese-style modernization and common prosperity," and "approaches to achieving common prosperity." Combining his academic background and professional experience, he used detailed data and vivid examples to showcase Guangdong’s significant measures and achievements in advancing common prosperity over more than 40 years of reform and opening up. On November 14, at the Guangming Subdistrict Library, Associate Professor Cai Zhuo delivered a lecture titled "Understanding the Distinctive Characteristics of Chinese Civilization." He elaborated on President Xi Jinping’s views on the five key traits of Chinese civilization and demonstrated their significance through historical examples.
