Since the successful convening of the 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the School of Marxism at Shenzhen University has actively responded with a high political stance, leveraging its unique academic strengths and strong faculty resources to conscientiously study, understand, interpret, and promote the spirit of the Plenary Session. With multiple measures in place, the School has worked to ensure that the spirit of the Plenary Session takes root in people's minds and is effectively implemented. Recently, the Party Committee of the School of Marxism organized the third batch of theoretical lecture groups to carry out more than 10 thematic presentations on the spirit of the 3rd Plenary Session across grassroots communities in Shenzhen and Shanwei, reaching nearly a thousand live audience members.
On the morning of September 25th, at the New Era Civilization Practice Center in Henggang Subdistrict, Shenzhen, Professor Li Yingxia delivered a lecture titled In-depth Study of the Spirit of the 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. She provided a comprehensive and systematic interpretation of the Plenary Session's spirit, focusing on "one major goal, two major tasks, seven key areas of focus, six guiding principles, and fourteen systematic deployments." Through vivid real-life examples, she clearly explained the new thoughts, viewpoints, and conclusions of General Secretary Xi Jinping regarding the comprehensive deepening of reform, urging everyone to advance this reform with a more vigorous and proactive spirit.
On the afternoon of September 26th, at the Bao'an District Youth Palace in Shenzhen, Professor Zhang Shoukui delivered a lecture titled Learning from Chairman Mao on How to Conduct Investigation and Research. "Investigation and research are about finding ways to solve difficulties encountered in work. Without investigation and research, one falls into three modes of thinking: 'bitter contemplation,' 'pointing fingers,' and 'sighing in frustration'," he explained. During the lecture, Professor Zhang elaborated on the background, key content, and significance of Mao Zedong's Oppose Bookishness, presenting the topic in a way that was easy to understand while blending theory, knowledge, and practice. The audience of local officials and community members listened attentively, carefully noting every important point.
On the afternoon of September 27th, at the New Era Civilization Practice Center in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, Professor Xu Jianhua gave a grassroots lecture on Studying and Implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the Spirit of the 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee. She analyzed how Xi Jinping Thought is guiding the country toward a more prosperous future and provided a detailed explanation of how comprehensively deepening reform is key to advancing the modernization of the national governance system and capacity. Professor Xu emphasized the importance of adhering to a people-centered development approach, continuing to push forward reform and opening up, and addressing the most immediate and practical concerns of the people to ensure the benefits of reform are shared more equitably among all citizens.

Also on the morning of September 27, at the New Era Civilization Practice Station in Chengxi Community, Haicheng Town, Haifeng County, Professor Chen Xiangyu gave a theoretical presentation titled "Policy Interpretation of the 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee." He emphasized that in the current international situation, we must firmly grasp both markets and resources. This involves further expanding opening-up and cooperation while deepening domestic socialist market economic reforms.
In another session on September 27 at the New Era Civilization Practice Station in Ketang Town, Haifeng County, Professor Li Shengtao presented a report titled "Policy Interpretation of the 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee." He began by reviewing the basic situations of the Party's Third Plenary Sessions since the Reform and Opening-up. He then focused on analyzing the international and domestic context in which the 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee was held. Li also incorporated practical case studies from Shenzhen to illustrate the roles and functions of the market, law, and government in fully building the socialist system with Chinese characteristics.
At the Tax Bureau's New Era Civilization Practice Station in Haifeng County on the same morning, Professor Li Ming delivered a lecture titled "The Evaluation of New Era Socialism with Chinese Characteristics by Foreign Communist Parties." He briefly introduced the current status of foreign Communist parties and provided an in-depth analysis of how major Communist parties worldwide positively evaluate the theory, path, and achievements of socialism with Chinese characteristics, as well as the outcomes of the 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Li emphasized the importance of studying and implementing the spirit of this plenary session, strengthening the "Four Confidences," and steadfastly advancing the socialist cause to ensure China's position as a "pillar of global socialism."
