Speaker’s Research Profile
Professor Xu Youwei specializes in the study of the Small Third-Front Construction. He has served as chief editor of works such as Oral History of Shanghai: The Small Third-Front Construction and Archives and Research Integration of the Small Third-Front Construction in New China. He has published nearly one hundred papers and essays in journals including Social Sciences in China (English Edition) and Historical Research, with many of his works reprinted by Xinhua Digest, Chinese Social Sciences Digest, and RUC Reprinted Materials.
He has organized five national academic symposiums on Third-Front Construction, and has participated extensively in planning films, documentary productions, photography exhibitions, memorial hall exhibitions, and museum projects related to the Small Third-Front Construction.
