On March 9, 2026, undergraduate classes officially began at Shenzhen University. Teaching at the start of the new semester is generally in good shape and teaching order is well maintained. This semester the School of Marxism offers a total of 202 undergraduate course offerings, of which 48 were delivered as scheduled on the first teaching day. Teachers were well prepared, arrived on duty on time and taught conscientiously, organizing their teaching effectively; students returned to campus on time, were full of energy and listened attentively, with a high attendance rate.

Liu Zhi, Dean of the School of Marxism; Ren Heng, Vice Dean for Teaching; Sun Tingting, Vice Dean; Wang Ping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Zheng Xiangping, Gao Wang, Liu Haijuan and Cai Zhuo, members of the undergraduate teaching supervision team; and Wu Junru, Zhu Zirui and Wang Yuqiao, administrative staff, together formed an inspection team. Going to the frontline of teaching, the team conducted a teaching inspection on the first day of classes among the classes held in three teaching buildings — Huiwen Building on the Yuehai Campus, Zhili Building on the Canghai Campus and Sifang Building on the Lihu Campus. In response to the University's call to "improve teaching conduct and promote a culture of learning," and in order to foster a sound teaching atmosphere, the School will continue to strengthen classroom management and conduct inspections of its teaching from time to time, so as to safeguard the quality of classroom teaching.
