To improve the quality of national-level project application writing and increase the project approval rate, the Marxism College held the second session of its National-Level Project Application Guidance Meeting on the morning of March 8, 2025, in the Huimen Building, Room 1600. Professor Chen Jinlong, Director of the Academic Committee at South China Normal University and a distinguished "CJ Scholar" appointed by the Ministry of Education, was invited to provide guidance on the application process. The meeting was chaired by Professor Zhang Shoukui, Vice Dean of the Marxism College, and attended by more than 30 faculty members preparing to apply for national-level projects in 2025.

This guidance meeting was conducted in a one-on-one format. To ensure the effectiveness of the guidance, the college had sent the application proposals of the participating faculty to Professor Chen Jinlong for review before the meeting. At the start of the session, Professor Chen provided detailed feedback and professional advice based on his review of the application proposals. He carefully analyzed the project topics, framework designs, and the issues present in the proposals, offering targeted and constructive suggestions to guide the faculty in refining and improving their applications. The faculty members actively sought advice from Professor Chen regarding challenges and questions they encountered during the application process, and Professor Chen provided thorough and attentive responses.

Finally, Vice Dean Zhang Shoukui expressed heartfelt thanks to Professor Chen for his meticulous guidance and encouraged the faculty to carefully consider the expert advice in order to further improve their applications and strive for success in the approval process. It is reported that the college has already organized two previous guidance sessions and hopes that this session will further assist faculty members in refining their national-level project applications and enhancing their quality.
