    School of Marxism Hosts Party History Knowledge Competition

    On April 9, 2025, the School of Marxism held a Party History Knowledge Competition in Room 1600 of the Huiwen Building. This event was a key initiative in the school's ongoing efforts to normalize and institutionalize Party history education. It also served as a proactive response to the in-depth study and implementation of the Central Eight Provisions, aiming to guide students in revisiting the Party’s glorious history, fully grasping the core essence of its theoretical system, and further inspiring patriotism and Party loyalty among young students. The competition also sought to enhance students’ sense of social responsibility and historical mission, promoting their all-around development.

    The competition was carefully designed by the school, and students from the School of Marxism enthusiastically participated. Centered on the theme “Study Party History, Strengthen Faith, Be a Pioneer,” the competition featured a wide-ranging and in-depth set of questions. Topics included the Party Constitution, regulations and discipline, Party history, the history of New China, the history of reform and opening up, the history of socialism, the development of the Chinese nation, the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, and current political affairs. The event thoroughly tested participants’ knowledge and understanding of Party history and related topics.

    After fierce competition, the event concluded with 3 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 5 third prizes being awarded. The students of the School of Marxism demonstrated solid knowledge of Party history, strong theoretical grounding, and the energetic spirit of youth. The competition achieved its goal of promoting learning through competition and evaluating learning through competition.

    The Party Committee of the School of Marxism will take this event as an opportunity to further encourage students to delve deeper into Party history, draw wisdom and strength from it, and contribute to the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
