To further promote the in-depth study and implementation of the Central Eight Provisions and to effectively advance Party-building-led efforts in the development of the "one-stop" student community model, the Party Committee of the School of Marxism, in collaboration with the Wenshan Lake Student Community, held a thematic Party Day activity on the evening of April 10 in the Wenshan Lake Community Activity Room. The event consisted of two parts: a group study and discussion session, and a themed Party lecture.
Participants included Professor Wang Hong, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee of Shenzhen University and Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism; Wang Ping, Deputy Secretary of the School’s Party Committee; young faculty member Li Ming; graduate student advisor Bian Kebing; and more than 30 student Party members. The event was hosted by Wang Ping.
Secretary Wang Hong led all attendees in studying the Central Eight Provisions and their implementation guidelines. She offered a clear and insightful explanation of the implementation process, core content, significance, and practical requirements of the Central Eight Provisions. She encouraged students from the School of Marxism to not only be pioneers in studying Party theory but also its communicators and practitioners. She emphasized the importance of staying true to the original mission, keeping the Party's purpose in mind, and contributing to Shenzhen University's "Double First-Class" initiative with firm belief and pragmatic work style.

Mr. Li Ming delivered the thematic Party lecture titled “Frame-by-Frame Interpretation of the Spirit of the Central Eight Provisions.” He provided a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the content and spirit of the Central Eight Provisions, including the context of their implementation, their contemporary significance, and practical requirements. He profoundly highlighted their rich connotations and far-reaching impact. At the conclusion of the lecture, he encouraged students of the new era to consciously practice the Party’s fine traditions, pragmatic work style, and mass line. He urged them to continuously improve their ideological awareness and moral character, and to contribute to Party building and national development through concrete actions.
This thematic Party Day activity not only deepened the student Party members’ understanding of the Party's efforts in improving work style but also reinforced their awareness of discipline and sense of responsibility. It strengthened their determination and confidence in upholding Party discipline and rules. Participating students expressed that they would take the Central Eight Provisions as a guiding standard in their future studies and lives, strictly discipline themselves, continuously enhance their Party spirit, observe discipline, cultivate a solid work style, and contribute their strength to the cause of the Party and the people.
