    The School of Marxism Continues to Conduct Theoretical Lectures on the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee

    Since the successful conclusion of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, the Party Committee of the School of Marxism at Shenzhen University has prioritized the study, interpretation, and promotion of the session’s spirit as a key political task. They have continuously conducted grassroots theoretical lectures, taking the lead in theory dissemination. Recently, faculty members from the School of Marxism have been visiting New Era Civilization Practice Centers across various districts in Shenzhen to deliver lectures on the spirit of the Third Plenary Session, contributing to the deep integration of the Party’s innovative theories into the public consciousness.

    On the afternoon of October 10, 2024, Professor Tian Qibo delivered a lecture titled “Implementing the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee: Strengthening Systems for Safeguarding and Improving People’s Livelihoods” at the Dapeng Office in Dapeng New District. Professor Tian provided an in-depth analysis of the significance and general requirements for further deepening reform and advancing Chinese-style modernization. He systematically outlined fourteen major reform initiatives aimed at strengthening the system to safeguard and improve people’s livelihoods, helping the public deepen their understanding of the session's spirit and boosting their confidence and expectations for future life.

    On the afternoon of October 10, 2024, Professor Fu Heming delivered a lecture on the "Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee" at the Kuiyong Office in Dapeng New District. Professor Fu provided an accurate and vivid interpretation of the session's spirit, offering an insightful analysis of the theme of reform and opening up. His lecture deepened cadres' and the public's understanding of the session’s spirit, blending theoretical depth with practical guidance.

    On the afternoon of October 10, 2024, Professor Zhang Shoukui delivered a lecture titled “Learning from Chairman Mao on How to Conduct Research” at the Nan'ao Office in Dapeng New District. Centering on the theme of “Learning Research,” Professor Zhang explained the importance of solid investigation, emphasizing that only through thorough research can one accurately understand the situation and formulate practical policies and strategies.

    On the morning of October 9, Teacher Li Shengtao delivered a lecture titled “The Party’s Century-Long Struggle and Its Inspirations” at the New Era Civilization Practice Center in Luohu District. He provided a comprehensive overview of the founding and development of the Communist Party of China, helping the audience deeply appreciate the Party's century-long journey, which strongly resonated with grassroots attendees. He noted that throughout its century of struggle, the Party has unwaveringly pursued the goal of happiness for the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This mission has kept the Party politically resolute and constantly motivated, enabling it to remain at the forefront of the times and gain the people's sincere support.

    On the afternoon of October 11, Associate Professor Bao Yi delivered a lecture titled “Understanding Chinese-Style Modernization in the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee” at the New Era Civilization Practice Center in Longgang District. He offered an in-depth discussion on the historical origins of Chinese-style modernization, a comparative analysis with foreign models, and the unique characteristics of the Chinese approach. Bao Yi highlighted the differences between Chinese-style modernization, Western modernization, and Soviet-style modernization, explaining the scientific content and pathways of Chinese-style modernization. This high-level, insightful lecture with rich references was highly praised by the audience.

    On the afternoon of October 13, Ms. Li Yingxia conducted an in-depth analysis at the New Era Civilization Practice Center in Bilin Subdistrict, Pingshan District. She covered the significance, theme, and important reports of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Using vivid examples and detailed data, Ms. Li linked the session’s spirit to residents' daily lives. When discussing reform measures on livelihood security, she elaborated on the session’s major policies on social security, employment, education, healthcare, and eldercare, filling local residents with confidence for the future.

    On the afternoon of October 17, Professor Fu Heming gave a lecture titled “Interpreting the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee” at the New Era Civilization Practice Center in Futian District. He thoroughly explained the spirit of each Third Plenary Session since reform and opening-up and focused on the main messages of the recent session, including the significance, general requirements, guiding principles, and overall goals of further deepening reform and advancing Chinese-style modernization. He also connected the spirit of the 20th National Congress, offering insights on understanding China’s socialist market economy and promoting the relationship between productive forces and relations of production.

    On the afternoon of October 18, Associate Professor Huang Jichao delivered a theoretical lecture titled “Promoting High-Quality Development of the United Front with Chinese-Style Modernization: Learning and Implementing the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee” at the New Era Civilization Practice Point in Yicheng Center, Longhua District. He discussed how Chinese-style modernization can drive high-quality development of the united front in the new era. His talk focused on the united front’s role in advancing Chinese-style modernization and contributing to national reunification within the broader context of comprehensive reform.

    The grassroots theoretical lectures organized by the School of Marxism at Shenzhen University have been warmly received by the public, with positive social feedback. “The lecture was rich in content and close to reality. It helped us understand the Party's policies and the country’s direction, and I hope there will be more such events in the future,” said Mr. Hou, a local resident. “Mr. Li Shengtao’s explanation offered us a refreshing understanding of Party history and revived the red memories of the Chinese Communist Party's hard work. We should carry forward the revolutionary spirit and cherish this hard-won happy life.” Residents in Luohu District were inspired by the lectures, with one resident saying, “I will take what I’ve learned back home and share it with family and friends. Together, we will contribute to Luohu’s development and help realize the dream of Chinese-style modernization through our efforts.”
