At the beginning of the new semester, to welcome students and better understand their return, daily lives, and thoughts, Wang Hong, a member of the Shenzhen University Party Committee, led a dormitory visit on the afternoon of September 2. She was joined by Liu Zhi, Dean of the School of Marxism, as well as Vice Deans Sun Tingting, Zhang Shoukui, Ren Heng, Deputy Party Secretary Wang Ping, counselor Bian Kebing, and student representatives. They warmly greeted and welcomed the new students.
During the visit, the school leaders and teachers showed great care for the students’ studies and living conditions. They asked about their academic progress and daily life, addressing concerns and offering valuable advice. The teachers reminded students to balance work and rest, pay attention to their health, and adjust quickly to the new semester. They also emphasized safety, such as avoiding online fraud and fire hazards, urging students to stay alert and enhance safety awareness.
In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the leaders listened to the students' feedback about the school. They promised continued support for each student's growth, offering a broader platform and resources. This warm interaction made the new students feel the strong sense of community within the School of Marxism. Many expressed that the visit not only deepened their understanding of the school but also boosted their excitement and confidence. In the next three years, they aim to embody the motto of "Self-Reliance, Self-Discipline, and Self-Improvement," turning these values into action.
