On the afternoon of September 19, 2020, the teaching and Research Forum of "Liu Zhishan famous teacher studio" of Ideological and political theory course in Guangdong Province was held at 1600 Huiwen building, Shenzhen University. Huang Yijun, a member of the Party committee and Secretary of the Party committee of Hainan Normal University and Professor Huang Yijun of Marxism college, was invited to participate in the Symposium and made a special report on "Some Thoughts on the specialization of Ideological and Political Courses". Professor Liu Zhishan, chairman of the famous teachers' studio and Professor Liu Zhishan of the school of Marxism of Shenzhen University, presided over the forum. All members of the famous teachers' studio from Guangdong Province attended the forum.

Professor Huang Yijun, taking the project of "the exploration of the specialized teaching mode of basic principles of Marxism" which is the "national excellent young and middle-aged teachers' subsidy program" of the Ministry of education, describes the possibility and necessity of carrying out the thematic teaching in Ideological and political course, and makes an in-depth analysis on how to carry out the specialized teaching. Professor Huang Yijun also shared with young teachers how to improve teaching level, how to apply for scientific research projects, and how to balance the relationship between teaching and scientific research. Young teachers spoke freely and exchanged views with Professor Huang Yijun on personal confusion in teaching and scientific research. Professor Liu Zhishan talked freely about the development of young teachers and made a summary speech on the forum. This symposium is the first teaching and research activity of famous teachers' studio. In the future, similar activities will be held once or twice a year to build a growth platform for young teachers of Ideological and political courses.
