Chen Xiangyu

Personal Profile

Native of Wanzhou, Chongqing, member of the Communist Party of China. Ph.D. in Philosophy from Renmin University of China and a joint doctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Marxism (School of Social Sciences), Shenzhen University, and a master's supervisor. Recipient of honors such as the Excellent Master's Thesis of Fujian Province and the National Scholarship. Main research areas include the politics of technology, critique of technological rationality, and artificial intelligence and moral decision-making.

Scientific Research

Published several papers in prominent academic journals such as Zhejiang Social Sciences and Journal of Nanjing University. Currently leading two research projects (ongoing) and participating in a major project funded by the National Social Science Fund. Co-authored two books.

Main Courses Taught

Undergraduate courses: "Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics," "Introduction to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era." Graduate course: "Introduction to Dialectics of Nature."
