Liu Hong, Ph.D. in Philosophy from Fudan University, is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Marxism at Shenzhen University and a member of the editorial board of French Philosophical Studies. He has led one National Social Science Fund project and participated in a major national philosophy and social science project. Liu has published over 17 papers in major Chinese journals and magazines such as Philosophical Trends and Modern Philosophy. His primary research interests include French phenomenology of life, comparative studies of life phenomenology and Marxist philosophy, and comparative studies of life phenomenology and phenomenology of mind. He teaches courses on Thought, Morality, and Rule of Law, Introduction to the Dialectics of Nature, and Marxism and Social Science Methodology.
