Liu Zhishan, Ph.D., member of the Communist Party of China. He completed his bachelor's and master's degrees at Beijing Normal University and earned his doctorate from Sun Yat-sen University. He was a visiting scholar at California State University, Los Angeles, and an exchange scholar at Kumamoto Gakuen University in Japan. Currently, he is a Professor at the School of Marxism at Shenzhen University, Director of the Institute of Migration Culture, and a doctoral supervisor. He also serves as an adjunct researcher at the Center for Civic and Moral Education at Beijing Normal University, a distinguished teacher of ideological and political theory courses in Guangdong universities, head of the Master Teacher Studio for ideological and political theory courses in Guangdong universities, a member of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Guangdong universities, and one of the first batch of selected outstanding young and middle-aged teachers of ideological and political theory courses in national universities. He was also a nominee for the first Influential Figures of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in national universities and the head of national and provincial first-class undergraduate courses. His primary research areas include migration culture and ideological and moral education. He has led three projects funded by the National Social Science Fund and twelve provincial and ministerial-level social science projects. He has published ten monographs and 116 academic papers. Liu has received several awards, including the Third Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences at the national level and the First Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Guangdong Province.
