Male, native of Changchun, Jilin. Currently a Professor at the School of Marxism at Shenzhen University, Director of the Institute of Contemporary Chinese Thought and Culture Studies, and leader of the discipline of Sinicization of Marxism. He is also an Executive Director of the Professional Committee for Contemporary World Culture and Civilization Research of the Chinese Society of Historical Materialism, an Executive Director of the Ownership Society of the Chinese Political Economy Society, a Director of the Guangdong CPC History Society, a Director of the Guangdong Scientific Socialism Society, a Director of the Chinese Modern History Historical Data Society, an Expert for the evaluation of Chinese humanities and social sciences journals at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Research Institute, a researcher at the Shenzhen University Research Base of the Guangdong Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, a part-time professor at the Shenzhen Health and Capacity Building and Continuing Education Center, a part-time professor at the Shenzhen Lawyers Association, a part-time professor at the Shantou Municipal Party School, and a member of the editorial board of Science and Atheism (expanded version) at the Marxism Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He has been a visiting scholar at Binghamton University, State University of New York, and California State University, Fullerton. His main research directions are Marxist theory, modern Chinese history, scientific socialism, and CPC history. He is the MOOC leader of the course "Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" and the leader of the Guangdong Province premium resource-sharing course "Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics." He has led and participated in multiple national and provincial-level projects, published three monographs, and authored and co-authored several books and translations. He has received numerous awards for his academic work, including provincial and national recognitions. He has been recognized as an excellent teacher in Shenzhen and an outstanding member of the Communist Party of China by the Shenzhen Municipal Education Committee, and he is a member of the lecture team for the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and the "Selected Readings of Xi Jinping's Works." His research has resulted in significant academic contributions, widely recognized and reprinted by major journals and academic platforms.

1. The book The History of the Red Army co-authored by Wang won the Shandong Province Excellent Books Award for 2005-2006 (September 2007) and the first prize in the 21st East China Excellent Philosophy and Social Sciences Books Award (October 2007).
2. In the 2012 Shenzhen University Academic Innovation Award selection, he received the third prize.
3. In the 2014 Shenzhen University Academic Innovation Award selection, the article "The Establishment and Modern Transformation of Naval Institutions in the Late Qing Dynasty" (Academic Research, 2013, Issue 7) won the third prize and was fully reprinted in China Social Sciences Digest, 2013, Issue 20, receiving the second prize.
