Liu Zhi

Liu Zhi, Dean of the School of Marxism at Shenzhen University, Distinguished Professor, Youth Scholar of the National Major Talent Support Program, Expert of the Central Marxist Theory Project, and State-Sponsored Visiting Scholar at Harvard University. His primary research areas include the construction of ideological and political work systems in universities, postgraduate moral education, and the construction of teachers' professional ethics. In recent years, he has been commissioned by the Ministry of Education to lead the formulation of four policy documents, including the "Guiding Opinions on Handling Misconduct in Teachers' Ethics in Universities." He has also led one major research project of the Ministry of Education, two projects of the National Social Science Fund, and seven other provincial and ministerial-level projects. He participated in the full compilation of two key textbooks of the Central Marxist Theory Project, including the "Important Expositions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on Education." He has published nine books and textbooks with publishers such as the People's Publishing House and the Commercial Press. Liu has published nearly 50 CSSCI papers in journals such as "Educational Research" and "Guangming Daily," with three of them being fully reprinted by "Xinhua Digest." He has received five provincial and ministerial-level academic awards, including the First Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Educational Science in Jilin Province.
