On September 10, with the golden breeze of autumn and the fragrance of osmanthus in the air, the School of Marxism at Shenzhen University gathered to celebrate the 41st Teachers’ Day. In order to vigorously promote the spirit of educators, foster a culture of respecting teachers and valuing education, and inspire all faculty members, the school held a warm and festive celebration. Participants included Professor Wang Hong, Party Secretary of the School of Marxism; Professor Liu Zhi, Dean; Associate Professor Sun Tingting, Vice Dean; Professor Zhang Shouku, Vice Dean; Wang Ping, Deputy Party Secretary; and all faculty and staff members.
Honoring Dedication: A Heartfelt Celebration
The school thoughtfully organized a series of cultural activities to pay tribute to teachers who have dedicated themselves to education with perseverance and passion. The collective birthday celebration was filled with warmth, friendship, and gratitude. Secretary Wang Hong and Dean Liu Zhi cut the birthday cake together, extending holiday greetings and sincere appreciation to all teachers who work diligently at the frontlines of teaching, research, and administration. The joyful atmosphere made everyone feel the warmth of the “big family,” strengthening the sense of belonging and unity among the faculty.
A floral arrangement activity followed, using flowers as a medium to cultivate aesthetic appreciation and harmony. The venue was filled with laughter, fragrance, and creativity. Teachers enjoyed a relaxing and artful experience, easing their minds and finding joy in creative expression — spending a meaningful and heartwarming holiday rich with a sense of ceremony.


Celebrating Achievements: Excellence and Recognition
Over the past year, all teachers of the School of Marxism have remained steadfast in fulfilling the fundamental mission of moral education — nurturing talent for the Party and the nation. Through unity, dedication, and innovation, the faculty has achieved remarkable results in teaching, research, and talent development, with many distinguished individuals emerging.
Notable achievements include:
Lou Yaping, Mao Jiaji, Bi Yana, and Chen Xiangyu have been selected for the 2025 National Social Science Fund Annual Project.
Liu Hong published a paper in the top academic journal Philosophical Research.
Fu Heming received recognition for the Guangdong Province Master Teacher Studio.
Shi Liang won the Second Prize in the 2025 Guangdong Provincial Ideological and Political Theory Course Young Teachers’ Teaching Skills Competition.
Zhang Shouku’s work “Marx’s Theory of the Individual in Historical Materialism” and Wang Shuangyin’s work “The Grand Historical Perspective in the Formation of Xi Jinping’s Cultural Thought” were honored with the Third Shenzhen University Top Ten Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences Award.
Liu Zhishan received the 30 Years of Service in Education Award from Shenzhen University.
Li Yanyan was nominated for the 2025 Shenzhen University Outstanding Teacher Award.
Liu Haijuan was recognized as a 2025 Outstanding Communist Party Member of Shenzhen University.
Guo Xiaoshuo was awarded 2025 Outstanding Party Affairs Worker of Shenzhen University.


Behind every milestone in the school’s progress lies the wisdom, dedication, and hard work of all its teachers. The Teachers’ Day celebration allowed the faculty to feel both the warmth of the festival and the honor of their profession, further strengthening the cohesion and collective spirit of the School of Marxism.
